I never was a fan of the Revoltech figure line because of their revolver joint 'socket' type system. But since they released a Kinnikuman figure, I had to pick one up. Details are petty cool. But still not a fan of this line. There have been better Kinnikuman (Kinnikuman line)of figures that have been released in the past, IMO.
Revoltech Yamaguchi No.128 Kinnikuman comes with 7 optional hand parts, an optional mouth part, 10 optional eye parts, Alternate body part(Sentou Fuku), original chojin mask, display stand base and container.

ULTRA-ACT初代ウルトラマン (ULTRA-ACT 1st Generation Ultraman Figure)-In late July 2012 Bandai released the ULTRA-ACT 1st Generation Ultraman figure. This one is actually a renewal or I should say a completely new figure of Ultraman. The figure itself is a tiny bit larger than the original first version that was released back in 2010. Also the first version had a bit of a caved in color timer area, which I'm glad they corrected that with this new version. And the face is more accurate with the C-Type version. The 2012 accessories included are 3 sets of hands and one 'V' sign right hand. The Specium Beam has more effect to it as with the Slash, which is more detailed and bigger than the original. Other accessories included are the optional red color timer, right & left 'dash' effect and joint parts for the 'Tamashii Stage ACT.4 for Humanoid' stand. The only item not included from the first version is the Brothers Mantle(ブラザーズマント). That, of course, is sold separately. The only downside for me is that this Ultraman is a bit taller than the ULTRA-ACT Ultraman Leo. As per the actual Ultra Brothers data for both Ultraman and Leo, Leo is taller. But overall, I do like this 2012 version of the ULTRA-ACT Ultraman more than the 2010 released version. Good stuff.

Making a trek to an actual place that was featured in your favorite anime/manga is pretty common. Exactly like how some would travel to Tunisia because it was the place used as the desert planet of Tatooine in the Star Wars Trilogy. My trek was not only to watch Puroresu, but it was also places of where Kinnikuman had some of his battles. Like in my first photo of the Nihon Budokan. The sight were Kinnikuman went up against Sunigator. I've also been to the Korakuen Hall. That's where Robinmask and the other Seigi Chojin's spoke with Kinnikuman about the upcoming Chojin Tag Tournament. And I've also been at the Tokyo Dome. The sight where Kinnikuman defeated Buki Boy. I didn't take any photo's of the outside but I did when I was inside of those two places…

In Osaka, I went to the Osaka-Jo(Castle). Any hardcore fan knows this is where Kinnikuman's Team battled the Super Phoenix Team. From the observation deck (to the right in the pic) you can see the oval roof of the Osaka-Jo Hall, the place where Kinnikuman defeated Satan Cross before making his way to the Osaka-Jo. One last photo posted that I took is of the Tsutenkaku, the famous tower in Osaka. Omegaman used this tower in the manga.

Ultraman Leo and Astra action figures finally gets some justice in the Ultra Act figure series. Okay, yes, there was the Real Action Heroes action figure series by Medicom Toy. But those are a bit out of my price range. But they were overlooked in the Action Hero Series and before that the Ultra Chogokin series.
Each figure comes with different posable sets of hands, an accessory and special effect attachments. The Ultraman Leo is a regular figure release and Astra was an UltraAct Tamashii webshop Exclusive.

'Yume no Chojin Tag Hen'. My favorite story arc in the Kinnikman series. And if you bought the 29th Anniversary DVD box set though Toei Animation, you were lucky enough to get this exclusive Tournament Mountain Display Case. Which is a pretty cool display case.

An Earlier post I mentioned the Diaclone Skybase was the best play set I own. Well, the second best play set I own is this Microman Himitsu(Secret) Rescue Kichi(Base). This dome base actually lights up and the antenna spins when the top radar arm is pushed back, which is a pretty cool feature. Along with a side door that can rotate open and a launching Base Machine shoots out when you pull the string next to the bottom radar. Even the box is pretty cool. The front, sides and top are the actual photo of the front, sides and top of the base itself. The fact that multiple Micromen could fit in the base made it even a cooler set. And for those single Microman that didn't come with a vehicle, I placed in there.

Robinmask P3 Color
These Kinnikuman character figures are from Medicos Entertainment. The Super Action Statue series. I have to say, these figures are well done. Not only for the multiple points of articulation, but for the likeness(detail) of the characters. They pretty much capture the manga style. Especially Buffaloman followed by Robinmask and they could have done a bit of a better job with Warsman's face. But still good enough. They also captured the correct scale of the characters. Meaning Buffaloman is taller than the other two and they got the height right. The articulation is located at points where they should be located at and not, say like the middle of their thigh where it can misalign the muscle definition when posing them.
Each figure comes with a base along with mats for the base that would have the character's name or just a plain mat. Also included are multiple sets of different posed hands and alternate heads for Buffaloman, face for Warsman and damage & non damage on Robinmask's mask. The figures also come in different colors. Manga Color, anime color and alternate colors for mega collectors/fans like myself.
I'm not sure why Medicos has not released The Kinnikuman Soldier and Kinnikuman Super Phoenix as of yet. It would be a bummer if they had to cancel and shelve them.
In my opinion, these are some very cool action figures from the Kinnikuman series…..Much better than the Romandoh's original line and G-Muscle series.
